MICRO FILM
Writer and Dir. Anthony Jackson
Shot on Sony Fx30
An introspection of the doubt that haunts many of us. We try so hard not so succumb to them; through our support systems, friends/family, somehow we find a way to release those past traumas, all the doubt, and anything else that holds us back from our true potential. Forgiveness of others. And more importantly, forgiveness of self is this the only way through.Let go was shot using two practical lights, the lamp as the key light and the desk light as the rim, and just one extra light, Amaran 200d directly above me. The two practical lights by themselves would be more than enough to sell this film; however, I wanted to lift some of the shadows as well as enhance the separation from the set.I used this micro film as my way of practicing the fundamentals of film, one light and framing to sell story.
